Happy Birthday, Corabelle!

It was a whirlwind of a birthday celebration for Corabelle. Her birthday fell right between getting back from Cambodia and Chinese New Year. We got to have two celebrations: one on her actual birthday and a party on one of the Chinese New Year public holidays.

12 Months

I can hardly believe a year ago we were in the hospital awaiting Corabelle's arrival! She's changed so much, and despite the hard months, it's been a fun year!

Family Photo Shoot

As a gift to Dan & Jackie, we hired a photographer to come out for some family photos. Despite cold temps, we still managed some good photos of everyone. Corabelle was tired by the end, hence the crying sister photos, ha!

Dan & Jackie's 40th

While we were back in Wisconsin, we had a belated 40th Anniversary celebration for Dan & Jackie. Nothing to big, but we did manage to surprise them when Charla/John and Mick/Jim showed up!

Christmas Lead-Up

The month of December is one of my favorites, and the tradition of our advent activity countdown becomes more and more fun every year as Emmeline understands more. She was very into the chain countdown this year, even helping to cut and put together the chain.

11 Months

11 months, I can hardly believe it! It means the next post will be 1 year! Where did the time go? This month was busy with a trip back to the US, which Corabelle handled pretty well, and although no crawling yet, she is moving around!
