I can hardly believe a year ago we were in the hospital awaiting Corabelle's arrival! She's changed so much, and despite the hard months, it's been a fun year!
The day after her birthday (or the day of US time), she started crawling on all 4s! She doesn't go super far yet, and still uses rolling to help her out in getting places, but it's a whole new ball game now. We can't leave things out (ahem, coffee on the floor, Dad), Emmeline is learning to move all around to keep Corabelle away, and she's getting in to everything!
She's also cruising on furniture and between things that are close together, like her activity table and Emmeline's chair. Despite this, she hates walking with a push walker, who knows why! She also has learned to spin in circles while sitting to get things around her that she wants.
She's become quite the chatty girl, and has even started repeating things that we say quite well. She loves to squeal and squawk, and when we tell her "shh" she thinks it's hilarious to say "sssss" right back to us. She uses mama and dada correctly (but also for other things too) and can say "mah" (more) when she wants more food.
Still a big lover of food, especially fruit, chicken, eggs, and yogurt, but really she eat most anything put in front of her. We're working on getting rid of all the bottles and are close but not quite there yet. She loves music and dancing, books, and being outside. The pool is a bit hit or miss at the moment, but eating sand is always a favorite, ha!
It's been a challenging and fun year, and I'm excited for the next phase of toddlerhood. It's fun to see her interacting more with Emmeline, playing together on the playground, and a few sister tiffs too! :)
