Easter

Easter was busy this year! A little strange not having Dad around, but we had lots of fun with family.

In the weeks leading up to Easter, we had lots of fun with egg stickers, painting, crafts, an event at Festival Foods, and cookie making and painting. Of course, no Easter is complete without egg dying. Emmeline liked to make all of hers one color. Corabelle was not so sure what this Easter business was about yet!

We spent Easter weekend in Rockford visiting great grandparents, cousins, and second cousins. The three babies are only a month and a half apart!

Easter egg hunts are always fun, and Emmeline is starting to enjoy them more and more. A lighted egg hunt in the dark was especially fun this year!

The Easter bunny treated Emmeline and Corabelle well, though Emmeline says he forgot diapers for Corabelle. 😂 The girl is obsessed with diapers!

It turns out that even with lots of extra hands, it’s hard to get anywhere on time with a baby and a toddler asserting her new found independence in dressing and everything else she does. But, we eventually made it to church. It’s also equally as hard to take pictures with said kids. I have to say, the outtakes of the photos are my favorites, though!

Looking forward to next year’s Easter when Corabelle can understand a bit more! Poor Corabelle didn't get any pictures of her first Easter with her basket; next year! For now, she's happy to give us lots of smiles! :)
