Corabelle is Baptized

Just a few days before we left for Singapore, Corabelle was baptized. It was a lovely ceremony and a great way to celebrate her joining God’s family with all of our families.

Corabelle slept through most of the church service, but woke up just in time to be baptized (and spit up all over Mom in front of the church). She didn’t love the water on her head, but she was all smiles by the time Pastor Gisele walked her around the church. Bryan and Anna, her sponsors, couldn't make it, but we were happy to have all of our family there to celebrate. Just like Emmeline, Corabelle wore the gown that I wore when I was baptized. So special to still have that in the family!

We had a lovely celebration afterward with family, cake, and presents. Corabelle slept through present opening, but Emmeline was happy to stand in and open the presents for her.

   

We look forward to seeing Corabelle grow in her faith and relationship with God over the coming years!
