Goodbyes

Our Singapore chapter is soon beginning. While we are excited for the new experience, it was sad (and a bit chaotic) to say goodbye to our lives in Texas for a while.
In a whirlwind of 3.5 weeks after Corabelle's birth, we packed up our house and said goodbye to as many friends as possible. Sadly, due to the flu outbreak, we didn't quite get to say goodbye to everyone in person, so we are glad FaceTime exists!

We said goodbye to our stuff and our house, which was a little sad for Emmeline especially. Our Airbnb at Hughes Landing was a great way to leave the Woodlands, though, with awesome views of the lake and some yummy meals out.

Sadly, we didn't take many photos at our going away party, but we are glad we got to see so many friends one last time. Emmeline is going to miss her playmates and I their mommies. It's been so fun growing up with them the last two years, but we know we will see them again soon and FaceTime playdates are already on the books!

After successfully managing hiring cleaners and turning in keys to the house with two kids, it was time to fly back to Wisconsin. The flight went well, and thanks to Grandma Julie's help, we were able to navigate two rental cars and two airports with two kids, two car seats, four suitcases, three backpacks, a stroller, and a boppy pillow. Whew!
