Wow, this month has been crazy! Corabelle got baptized, moved to Singapore, and moved into our new apartment. She’s been a trooper through it all, but we are looking forward to some routine now!
The biggest milestones this month are smiling like crazy and starting to grab things. We’ve also heard a few laughs, but they aren’t consistent yet. She just started looking at her feet the other day, so I’m sure grabbing those will come any day now! She’s rolled over from tummy to back a few times, but I think it’s out of avoidance of tummy time more than anything!
Following in her sister’s footsteps, she’s become an awesome night sleeper. She goes to bed between 7 and 8pm, only wakes up once a night (anywhere from 3-5am) and recently started not waking until 6am! Then up for the day around 6:45am. Also, like Emmeline, she’s not a great napper. 45 minutes tops and almost always has to be in the carrier. Probably because we are on the go all the time, but I figure as long as she’s sleeping at night, we can work on naps in a few months. She does have this habit of screaming when she gets overtired, and she flips a switch with very few signs beforehand, so there is a lot of screaming most days! 😳
Corabelle loves Emmeline and watches her every move very intently. Easy entertainment for us! She still loves her Lamaze peacock toy, and plastic water bottles are also fascinating!
We are looking forward to a (hopefully) calmer month ahead! 😊
