With Nick gone in Qatar for so long (3 weeks), we decided to hop on a plane and spend half the time in Wisconsin with family. Emmeline logged her 19th and 20th flights on this trip and continues to be a rock star traveler!
Emmeline, of course, loved all the extra attention, and we both loved the cooler temps, which were unseasonable mild for Wisconsin in November. This meant lots of walks and playing outside. Although, Emmeline is not a huge fan of actually touching the leaves!
We got to go to Grandma Julie's 2 year old music class one day. Although she couldn't sit quite as still as the older kids, she still loved being there and participating!
Playing with the dogs and fishing at Grandpa Dan and Grandma Jackie's is always a hit. She was always begging someone to take her out to see them!
We also spent quite a bit of time with all of Emmeline's great grandparents, which was fun for us and for them. She is a very loved baby for sure!
The Saturday before we flew back, Dad was able to score us some last minute Badger game tickets. Although it was a blow out, it was so fun to be back at a game! And a beautiful day for it! Added bonus, seeing Chris and Lindsay again!
Thanks for a fun time, family! Upon arrival in Houston, we got to meet Nick at the airport at the same time! Emmeline was quite excited to see him!
